In the previous edition of the SBI Clerk Exam 2018, there were no sectional timing and when it comes to the SBI PO , the sectional timing for the Preliminary Examination has been in effect from last year.
The introduction of the Sectional timing for the Preliminary Examination has increased the difficulty level and will minimize the possibility of aspirants providing more time to the sections which they are comfortable with. For Example , if a candidate is well versed in Quantitative Aptitude, he/she will provide more time to the Quantitative section so as to get more marks in that particular section.
Another important thing to note in this section is that there is not cutoff marks this time as there is only aggregate scoring. The aggregate scores of the candidates will be considered and Only the candidates who score marks will be considered for the next Online Mains Examinations. THis scenario holds true for both the SBI PO Prelims and also for SBI CLERK Prelims Exam 2018.
