SSC MTS 2016 – Candidates shortlisted for Document Verification – Released
Dear Aspirants,
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the candidates shortlisted for the document verification process for the MTS Exam (Multi Tasking Staff). The Document Verification will be conducted by the Regional Offices between
25-02-2018 and 15-03-2018. Staff Selection Commission conducted Examination for recruitment to the post of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, 2016 from 16.09.2017 to 31.10.2017 in the Computer Based Mode.
The result of Paper – I of the above Examination was declared on 15-1-2018. The candidates who qualified in Paper – I, were required to appear in Paper – II, which was conducted on 28-1-2018, in which a total of 1,43,657 candidates appeared.
The Commission has decided to fix qualifying marks of 17.5 i.e. 35% for UR category and 16.5 i.e. 33% for all other reserved categories in Paper-II. Qualifying marks in Paper-II will be uniform across all States/UTs.
The Evaluation of Answer Sheets for Paper-II is in progress. However, to expedite the recruitment process, the Commission has decided to immediately start the process of Document Verification. Therefore, as per the provisions in the Notice of Examination for final selection, the Commission has shortlisted candidates for Document verification on the basis of Merit (in Paper-I) + preference of State/ UT exercised by them in the Application Form.

Note-1:
Category and State/ UT code used for processing of result of Paper-I have been used in result processing for Document Verification.
Note-2:
Candidates belonging to reserved categories meeting the cut off fixed for UR categories are shown in their respective category.
Note-3:
i. Due to advance action taken by the Commission in conducting Document Verification on the basis of performance of candidates in Paper-I, it may happen that the candidates who were absent in Paper-II, which was mandatory, may also get shortlisted for the Document Verification. Such candidates are therefore not required to appear in Document
Verification.
ii. Candidates who do not score qualifying marks in Paper-II, as specified at para-2 above, will not be considered for final selection.
