SSC MTS NEW PATTERN 

Dear Aspirant,

SSC is one of the most anticipated exams after the banking and insurance exams and even this is considered as one of the elite ones among the aspirants. After CGL and CHSL exam, the next most expected exam will be the MTS and this exam has been due in the month of May until June of this year. The SSC MTS exams have been canceled due to paper leak in some centers and the date was also postponed.

In a recent notification from the SSC, it has been mentioned that the Re-examination of the Paper I for Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination 2016 will be held from 16th September 2017 to 26th October 2017. Also in a recent notification, SSC has mentioned that the exam pattern of Paper I of MTS examination 2016 has been changed and aspirants are advised to know the recent changes in the pattern of the SSC MTS 2016 examination.

The exams are in online mode and the total duration to attend the paper I examination is 90 minutes for the 4 sections and for the Visually Handicapped / Cerebral Palsy Candidates, it is 120 minutes.

The changes are in the Paper I only and there are negative marks for the wrongly marked ones and there are no changes in that. The Paper I is an online exam and also the exam will be bilingual and the questions will be asked in English and Hindi.

Paper II , the descriptive one is of qualifying in nature and only candidates who are clearing the Paper I will be eligible to attend the paper II. The paper II of the SSC MTS will test your basic writing skills.

NOTE: Orthopedically Handicapped candidates (other than a candidate afflicted by Cerebral Palsy) who have a locomotor disability (40% or more) wherein the dominant writing extremity is affected to the extent of slowing down the performance of the candidate (such deficiency to be indicated in the medical certificate submitted by the candidate) are also allowed compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour.
