Even the dates for the exams has been out and we have come up with an article regarding things to know while applying for IBPS PO 2017. We have been reiterating that there may be changes in the IBPS Exams due to the difficult level of questions asked in the SBI PO 2017 exams. 1.When is the preliminary and mains examination of IBPS PO happening ?
The preliminary exams are happening at 7th, 8th ,14th & 15th of October 2017 and the mains examination are happens on 26th November 2017.
2. What are the post available under the IBPS PO 2017 ?
The posts available under the IBPS PO 2017 are Probationary Officer/Management Trainee or in a similar post in that cadre.
3. Will IBPS PO also have the Clerk positions in the same one like IBPS RRB ?
There will be separate notifications and application process for the IBPS CLERK 2017.

5. Is there any changes in the exam pattern of the IBPS PO 2017 ?
Absolutely Yes. The Prelims pattern is the same as always, but there are changes in the Mains Examination in the IBPS PO 2017. You can check the same in the link given below.

6. Will the exam be in ONLINE MODE or OFFLINE MODE ?
The exam will be in the ONLINE MODE only. Both the preliminary and the mains examination will be in the online mode and also the Descriptive exam in the mains examination will be in the ONLINE MODE only.
7. What is the age criteria to apply for the posts in the IBPS PO 2017 ?
The minimum age to apply for the IBPS PO 2017 is 20 years and maximum age is 30 years (As on 01.08.2017). Also a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1987 and not later than 01.08.1997 (both dates inclusive).
* The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates. Relaxation is applicable to candidates belonging to the Scheduled caste/Scheduled Tribe & Other Backward Classes(Non Creamy Layer) & Persons with Benchmark disabilities & Ex – Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment & Persons ordinarily domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir & Persons affected by 1984 riots.
8. What is the educational Qualification to apply for the IBPS PO 2017 ?
The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks (in all the subjects irrespective of honours / optional / additional optional subject, if any) multiplied by 100. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class / Grade is decided on basis of Honours marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and
