2. When do the application process for the RBI ASSISTANT 2017 commences and when is the last date to apply for the exam ?

The registration for the RBI ASSISTANT 2017 has already commenced from 18th October 2017 and the last date to apply for the 623 vacancies for the post of Assistants is 10th November 2017.  Further information regarding the important dates are

3. What is the Tentative Dates of the RBI ASSISTANT 2017 Preliminary Examination and Mains Examination ?

The tentative dates for the RBI Assistant preliminary examination is 27th and 28th November 2017 and the tentative dates for the RBI Assistant Mains Examination is 20th December 2017.


4. What should i do if I face any problems while applying for the RBI ASSISTANT Exam 2017 ?

6. Is there any age restriction to apply for RBI ASSISTANT EXAM 2017?
Candidates aged between 20 and 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/10/1989 and not later than 01/10/1997 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.

7. What is the educational qualification required to apply for the post of RBI ASSISTANT 2017?

Candidates who wish to apply for the post of RBI ASSISTANT 2017 should be a graduate and should also have the working knowledge of word processing on PC. Also a candidate belonging to Ex-servicemen category (except

dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.

8. Is there any percentage criteria to apply for the RBI ASSISTANT 2017 ?
Yes, as said the candidate should be a graduate and should have got atleast 50% in the graduation in any discipline.

Note: 

Calculation of Percentage: The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the
candidate in all the subjects in all the semester(s)/year(s) by aggregating maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honors / optional / additional optional subject, if any. This will be applicable for those Universities also where Class/Grade is decided on the basis of Honors marks only. The fraction of percentage so arrived will be ignored i.e. 49.99% will be treated as less that 50%.

9. Should I definitely know the Official Language of the state in which i’m applying for the RBI ASSISTANT 2017?
Candidates applying for post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read,
write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office
Also additionally the candidates provisionally selected from the main on – line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned (Annex -IV). Candidate not proficient in the Official/Local Language would be disqualified.

11. What are the application fees/ Intimation Charges to apply for the RBI ASSISTANT EXAM 2017 ?
The application fees for the RBI ASSISTANT EXAM 2017
Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD/EXS (Only Intimation Charges)
Rs.450 for OBC/General candidates (Examination Fees + Intimation Charges)

12. I am in the final year of my study, Will I be able to apply for the RBI ASSISTANT EXAM 2017 ?

No. To apply for the RBI Assistant Exam 2017, you must be a graduate and should have a percentage of 50% and also you should have graduated before 1.10.2017.


13. What is the selection procedure of the RBI ASSISTANT 2017 ?
