1. Niti Aayog

• The 6th Executive Committee meeting of NITI Aayog will be held on February 20 under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister through video conferencing.  Union Territory of Ladakh is joining the group for the first time.
• Agriculture, Construction, Manufacturing, Nutrition and Sanitation sectors will be discussed. The meeting, which will be attended by 26 State Chief Ministers, will discuss Plans such as New India 2022, raising India’s economy by 5 trillion by 2024.
• The fifth meeting of NITI Aayog was held in Rashtrapati Bhavan in 2019.

1. நிதி ஆயோக்

• பிப்ரவரி 20-ம் தேதி அன்று நிதி ஆயோக்கின் 6-வது ஆட்சிக் குழு கூட்டம் பிரதமர் தலைமையில் காணொலிக் காட்சியின் மூலம் நடைபெற உள்ளது. இந்த குழுவில் லடாக் யூனியன் பிரதேசம் முதல் முறையாக இணைய உள்ளது.
• வேளாண்மை, கட்டுமானங்கள், உற்பத்தி துறைகள், சுத்துணவு, சுகாதாரம் உள்ளிட்டவை குறித்து விவாதிக்கப்படும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. மேலும் 26 மாநில முதல்வர்கள் கலந்து கொள்ளும் இந்த கூட்டத்தில் புதிய இந்தியா 2022, 2024க்குள் இந்தியாவின் பொருளாதாரத்தை 5 டிரில்லியன் டாலர் உயர்த்துவது குறித்து விவாதிக்கப்பட உள்ளது.
• நிதி ஆயோக்கின் 5-வது கூட்டம் கடந்த 2019-ல் குடியரசுத் தலைவர் மாளிகையில் நடைபெற்றது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

2. Lieutenant Governor

• On February 18, Tamizhisai Soundararajan took oath as the 31st Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry.
• This is the first time a Lieutenant Governor has assumed office in Tamil. She is also the 5th female Lieutenant Governor of India.
• She directed the Puducherry Congress government to prove majority in the Assembly by February 22.

2. துணைநிலை ஆளுநர்

• பிப்ரவரி 18-ல், புதுச்சேரியின் 31-வது துணை நிலை ஆளுநராக தமிழிசை சௌந்தர்ராஜன் தமிழில் உறுதிமொழி வாசித்து பொறுப்பேற்றுக் கொண்டார்.
• ஒரு துணைநிலை ஆளுநர் தமிழில் பதவி ஏற்றுக்கொண்டது இதுவே முதல் முறையாகும். மேலும் இவர் இங்தியாவின் 5-வது பெண் துணை நிலை ஆளுநர் ஆவார்.
• மேலும் அவர், வரும் பிப்ரவரி 22-ம் தேதிக்குள் புதுச்சேரி காங்கிரஸ் அரசை சட்டமன்றத்தில் பெரும்பான்மையை நிரூபிக்க உத்தரவிட்டுள்ளார்.

3. Integrated Livestock Park

• Last year(2019), the Tamil Chief Minister laid the foundation for the project of the largest integrated livestock park in Asia at V.kootuSalai near Thalaivasal in Salem district.
• Animal husbandry Minister Udumalai. K. Radhakrishnan has announced that the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu will inaugurate the park on February 22, as the construction of the park got completed.

3. கால்நடை பூங்கா

• கடந்த ஆண்டு(2019) ஆசியாவிலேயே மிகப்பெரிய கால்நடை பூங்கா அமைக்கும் திட்டத்திற்கு, சேலம் மாவட்டம் தலைவாசல் அடுத்துள்ள வி.கூட்டுச்சாலையில் தமிழக முதல்வர் அடிக்கல் நாட்டி தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.
• தற்போது, பூங்கா அமைக்கும் பணிகள் நிறைவடைந்துள்ள நிலையில், வரும் பிப்ரவரி 22-ம் தேதி தமிழக முதல்வர் பூங்காவை திறந்து வைக்க உள்ளதாக கால்நடைத் துறை அமைச்சர் உடுமலை கே.ராதாகிருஷ்னன் தெரிவித்துள்ளர்.

4. South Asian Conference

• Pm Modi discussed the various experiences faced during the Corona disaster by India with 10 other South Asian countries including Pakistan.
• Special visas should be issued to doctors and nurses in the South Asian region in order to provide quick treatment to the countries in need of emergency response in times of disaster like corona, said by Indian PM Narendra Modi.
• He also urged south Asian countries and the Indian ocean Island nations to work together effectively.

4. தெற்காசிய மாநாடு

• பிரதமர் மோடி அவர்கள், பாகிஸ்தான் உட்பட 10 தெற்காசிய நாடுகளுடன் கொரோனா பேரிடர் காலத்தில் எதிர்கொண்ட பல்வேறு அனுபவங்கள் பற்றி கலந்துரையாடினார்.
• அப்போது தெற்காசிய பிராந்தியத்தில் உள்ள மருத்துவர்கள் மற்றும் செவிலியர்களுக்கு சிறப்பு விசா வழங்குவது குறித்து ஆலோசிக்கப்பட்டது. இதன் மூலம் மருத்துவப் பணியாளர்கள், கொரோனா போன்ற பேரிடர் காலத்தில் அவசர உதவி தேவைப்படும் நாடுகளுக்கு விரைவாக சென்று சிகிச்சை அளிக்க முடியும் என இந்திய பிரதமர் தெரிவித்தார்.
• மேலும், அவர் தெற்காசிய நாடுகள் மற்றும் இந்திய பெருங்கடல் தீவு நாடுகள் சிறந்த முறையில் ஒருங்கிணைந்து செயல்பட வலியுறுத்தினார்.

5. E-Kuber Project

• The E-Kuber Payment Scheme was introduced in J&K to pay the government employees directly. It was said that the scheme will be implemented in a phased manner.
• Under this Scheme, RBI will directly handle all transactions of the Government without any other bank assistance.

5. இ-குபேர் திட்டம்

• இ-குபேர் பேமண்ட் திட்டத்தின் மூலம் அரசு ஊழியர்களுக்கு நேரடியாக ஊதியத்தொகை செலுத்தும் திட்டம் ஜம்மு-காஷ்மீரில் அறிமுகம் செய்யப்பட்டது. மேலும் இந்த திட்டம் படிப்படியாக செயல்படுத்தப்படும் என தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
• இந்த திட்டத்திம் மூலம் அரசின் அனைத்து பரிவர்த்தணைகளையும் இடையில் வேறு எந்த வங்கியின் உதவியுமின்றி ரிசர்வ் வங்கி நேரடியாக கையாளும்.

6. HIV Drugs

• To Combat HIV infection and to make the drugs more effective, Researchers at IIT-Madras found a way recently.
• In the cavity of the HIV protease, a particular region was found polar. To stop the replication of HIV, the researchers used molecular dynamics simulations and showed that introducing electrostatic interaction sites on potential drug molecules could enhance the efficacy of the drug.

6. எச்.ஐ.வி மருந்து

• எச்.ஐ.வி தொற்றுநோயை எதிர்த்துப் போராட மருந்துகளின் பயன்களை அதிகரிக்கும் வகையில், ஐ.ஐ.டி-மெட்ராஸின் ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் ஒரு புது யுக்தியைக் கண்டுபிடித்துள்ளனர்.
• எச்.ஐ.வி புரோட்டீஸின் குழியில், ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட பகுதி துருவமாகக் அறியப்படுகிறது. எச்.ஐ.வி தனனைக் நகலெடுப்பதைத் தடுக்க, ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் மூலக்கூறு இயக்கவியல் உருவகப்படுத்துதல்களைப் பயன்படுத்தியுள்ளனர். மேலும் சாத்தியமான மருந்து மூலக்கூறுகளில் மின்னியல் தொடர்பு தளங்களை அறிமுகப்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் மருந்தின் செயல்திறனை மேம்படுத்த முடியும் என்பதைக் கண்டறிந்துள்ளனர்.

7. Hunger strike

• The madras High court has announced that sitting on hunger strike for days together to press certain demands and refusing to cooperate with the authorities does not amount to criminal offence under section 309(attempt to commit suicide) of the Indian Penal code.

7. உண்ணாவிரதம்

• சில கோரிக்கைகளை முன்வைக்க அதிகாரிகளுடன் ஒத்துழைக்க மறுத்து பல நாட்கள் உண்ணாவிரதம் இருப்பது இந்திய தண்டனைச் சட்டத்தின் பிரிவு 309 (தற்கொலை முயற்சி)-ன் கீழ், கிரிமினல் குற்றம் ஆகாது என மெட்ராஸ் உயர் நீதிமன்றம் அறிவித்துள்ளது.

8. Mahabahu Brahmaputra

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually launched Mahabahu Brahmaputra, a package of multi-model water connectivity project. It includes a 19.282 km bridge which will be India’s longest bridge across a river.
• He also said that the centre had taken up various development projects in the state to correct the mistakes of neglecting Assam in the past.

8. மகாபாகு பிரம்மபுத்திரா

• பிரதமர் நரேந்திர மோடி அவர்கள், அசாமில் பல நீர் இணைப்பு திட்டத்தின் தொகுப்பான மகாபாகு பிரம்மபுத்திராவை தொடங்கி வைத்தார். இது 282 கி.மீ தூரத்திற்கு இந்தியாவின் நீளமான பாலத்தை ஆற்றின் குறுக்கே கட்டமைக்கும் திட்டத்தையும் உள்ளடக்கியுள்ளது.
• மேலும் பிரதமர், கடந்த காலத்தில் அசாமை புறக்கணித்த தவறுகளை சரிசெய்ய, இம்முறை மத்திய அரசு அசாம் மாநிலத்தில் பல்வேறு வளர்ச்சி திட்டங்களை மேற்கொள்ள உள்ளதாக தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

9. Australian Law

• The new Australian law which requires Google and Facebook to reach commercial deals with the Australian publishers, whose links drive traffic to their platforms, or to be subjected to forced arbitration to agree a price.
• As google sealed deals with several outlets, Facebook has stripped the pages of domestic and foreign news outlets for Australians and blocked users of its platform from sharing contents over the dispute with the government of the new content laws on February 19.

9. ஆஸ்திரேலிய சட்டம்

10. Table Tennis

• Manika Batra, from petroleum sector won the women’s singles event at the National Table Tennis Championships for the second time.
• She has already won the championship in 2015.

10. டேபிள் டென்னிஸ்

• தேசிய டேபிள் டென்னிஸ் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் போட்டியின் மகளிர் ஒற்றையர் பிரிவில், பெட்ரோலியத் துறை சார்பில் விளையாடிய மணிகா பத்ரா, 2-வது முறை சாம்பியன் பட்டம் வென்றார்.
• 2015-ம் ஆண்டில் நடைபெற்ற போட்டியில், இவர் ஏற்கனவே சாம்பியன் பட்டம் வென்றுள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
