1. Tamil Nadu launches Single Window Portal 2.0

  • Tamil Nadu has launched the Single Window Portal 2.0, which offers more than 100 services from 24 departments in a digitised manner for existing and new investors. It aims to improve its ease-of-doing-business ranking by improving investments.

  • 24 துறைகளைச் சேர்ந்த 100க்கும் மேற்பட்ட சேவைகளை டிஜிட்டல் முறையில் ஏற்கனவே உள்ள மற்றும் புதிய முதலீட்டாளர்களுக்கு வழங்கும் ஒற்றைச் சாளர இணையதளம்0ஐ தமிழ்நாடு அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. முதலீடுகளை மேம்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் தொழில் செய்ய உகந்த தரவரிசையில் முன்னேறுவதை இது நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

2. Annamalai University set to become an affiliating university

  • Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister Ponmudi announced that Annamalai University would be converted into an affiliating university.
  • Colleges in Villupuram, Cuddalore, Kallakurichi and Mayiladuthurai, including J. Jayalalithaa University, which was established in Villupuram, will be affiliated to Annamalai University.

Annamalai University

  • Annamalai University was founded in 1929 by Annamalai Chettiyar after the Montague-Chelmsford Reforms. It is a public state university located in Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram.

 

2. அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகம் இணைப்பு பல்கலைக்கழகமாக மாற உள்ளது

  • தமிழ்நாடு உயர்கல்வி அமைச்சர் கே. பொன்முடி, அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகம் ஒரு இணைப்பு பல்கலைக்கழகமாக மாற்றப்படும் என்று அறிவித்துள்ளார்.
  • டாக்டர் ஜெ. ஜெயலலிதா பல்கலைக்கழகம் உட்பட விழுப்புரம், கடலூர், கள்ளக்குறிச்சி மற்றும் மயிலாடுதுறை ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களில் உள்ள கல்லூரிகள் அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகத்துடன் இணைக்கப்படும்.

அண்ணாமலை பல்கலைக்கழகம்

  • 1929ஆம் ஆண்டு மாண்டேகு-செம்ஸ்போர்டு சீர்திருத்தங்களுக்குப் பிறகு அண்ணாமலைச் செட்டியரால் அண்ணாமலைப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இது சிதம்பரத்திலுள்ள அண்ணாமலை நகரில் அமைந்துள்ள ஒரு பொது மாநில பல்கலைக்கழகம் ஆகும்.

3. Madras High Court orders 20% of government job reservations in TNPSC only for those students who studied entirely in Tamil medium

  • Madras High Court ordered that 20% of government job reservations in TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) should be provided only for those students who studied entirely in Tamil medium (1st – 12th standard and graduate degree).
  • Tamil Nadu Government had last year issued a notification reserving 20% of government jobs to candidates who studied in Tamil medium.
  • The order of the Madras High Court came regarding the provision being misused by many candidates who studied courses in Tamil medium through distance education.

 

3. முழுமையாக தமிழ் மொழியில் படித்த மாணவர்களுக்கு மட்டும் டி.என்.பி.எஸ்.சி.யில் 20% அரசு வேலை ஒதுக்கீடு செய்ய வேண்டுமென சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்துள்ளது

  • முற்றிலும் தமிழ் மொழியில் படித்த மாணவர்களுக்கு (1-12 வகுப்பு மற்றும் பட்டப்படிப்பு) மட்டுமே டி.என்.பி.எஸ்.சி.யில் (தமிழ்நாடு அரசு பணியாளர் தேர்வாணையம்) 20% அரசு வேலை ஒதுக்கீடு வழங்க வேண்டும் என்று சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்றம் உத்தரவிட்டது.
  • தமிழ் வழியில் படித்தவர்களுக்கு அரசு வேலைகளில் 20% ஒதுக்கீடு வழங்கும் அறிவிப்பை தமிழ்நாடு அரசு கடந்த ஆண்டு வெளியிட்டது.
  • தொலைதூரக் கல்வி மூலம் தமிழ் வழியில் படித்த பல தேர்வர்கள் இந்த விதியை தவறாகப் பயன்படுத்துவது தொடர்பான வழக்கில் மெட்ராஸ் உயர் நீதிமன்றம் இந்த உத்தரவை பிறப்பித்தது.

4. Tamil Nadu targets 100% literacy in the next 3 years

  • Tamil Nadu Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi said that Tamil Nadu has a target of 100% literacy in the next 3 years. Many adults were defied of their property due to their illiteracy and literacy would help them to be aware of such kinds of frauds.
  • ‘Karpom Ezhthuvom Iyakkam’ is a scheme of the Directorate of Non-Formal and Adult Education to make the adults read and write.

 

4. அடுத்த 3 ஆண்டுகளில் 100% எழுத்தறிவை அடைய தமிழ்நாடு இலக்கு நிர்ணயித்துள்ளது

  • அடுத்த 3 ஆண்டுகளில் 100% எழுத்தறிவை அடைவதை தமிழ்நாடு இலக்காக நிர்ணயித்துள்ளது என்று தமிழ்நாடு கல்வி அமைச்சர் அன்பில் மகேஷ் போயமொழி கூறினார். பல வயதானவர்கள் தங்கள் கல்வியறிவின்மை காரணமாக தங்கள் சொத்துக்களை இழந்துள்ளனர். இது போன்ற மோசடிகளைப் தடுக்க எழுத்தறிவு அவர்களுக்கு உதவும்.
  • ‘கற்போம் எழுதுவோம் இயக்கம்’ என்பது பெரியவர்களை எழுதப் படிக்க வைக்கும் முறைசாரா மற்றும் வயது வந்தோர் கல்வி இயக்குநரகத்தின் திட்டமாகும்.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

5. DRDO indigenously develops High Strength Beta Titanium Alloy

  • Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has indigenously developed a High Strength Metastable Beta Titanium Alloy containing Vanadium, Iron and Aluminium, Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al, in industrial scale for applications in aerospace structures.
  • It has been developed by the Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) of Hyderabad, a premier laboratory of DRDO. These alloys are used as a substitute for the relatively heavier traditional Ni-Cr-Mo structural steels.

Titanium

  • Titanium is a metal with atomic number 22 and the symbol V. India has 21% of the world’s Titanium deposit.
  • It’s advantages are: higher strength, ductility, toughness and has superior corrosion resistance in comparison to steel.

 

5. அதிவலிவு கொண்ட பீட்டா டைட்டானியம் கலவையை உள்நாட்டில் டிஆா்டிஓ உருவாக்கியுள்ளது

  • பாதுகாப்பு ஆராய்ச்சி மற்றும் மேம்பாட்டு அமைப்பு (டி.ஆர்.டி.ஓ) உள்நாட்டில் வானடியம், இரும்பு மற்றும் அலுமினியம் ஆகியவற்றைக் கொண்ட அதிவலிவு கொண்ட சிற்றுறுதியான பீட்டா டைட்டானியம் Ti-10V-2Fe-3Al விண்வெளி அமைப்பு பயன்பாடுகளுக்காக தொழில்துறை அளவில் உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.

6. IIT Ropar develops a first-of-its-kind oxygen rationing device ‘AMLEX’

  • IIT Ropar has developed a first-of-its-kind oxygen rationing device ‘AMLEX’ to increase the life of medical oxygen cylinders three-fold. This process saves oxygen which otherwise unnecessarily gets wasted since the oxygen cylinder/pipe is pushed out along with the exhaled CO2 by the user.
  • This device can operate on both portable power supply (battery) as well as line supply (220V-50 Hz). AMLEX can be easily connected between the oxygen supply line and the mask worn by the patient. It uses a sensor that senses and detects inhalation and exhalation of the user in any environmental condition.

 

6. ஐஐடி ரோபர் ஆக்ஸிஜன் பங்கீட்டு சாதனமான ‘ஏம்லெக்ஸ்‘ (AMLEX)ஐ முதன்முதலில் உருவாக்குகியுள்ளது

  • மருத்துவ ஆக்ஸிஜன் சிலிண்டர்களின் ஆயுளை மூன்று மடங்கு அதிகரிக்க ஐஐடி ரோபர் ஆக்ஸிஜன் பங்கீட்டு சாதனமான ‘ஏம்லெக்ஸ்‘ (AMLEX)ஐ முதன்முதலில் உருவாக்கியுள்ளது. இந்த செயல்முறை ஆக்ஸிஜனை சேமிக்கிறது. ஆக்ஸிஜன் சிலிண்டர்/குழாய், பயனரால் வெளியேற்றப்படும் CO2 உடன் வெளியே தள்ளப்படுவதால் தேவையில்லாமல் ஆக்ஸிஜன் வீணடிக்கப்படுவதை தடுக்கிறது.

7. ‘Pegasus’ spyware intrudes via WhatsApp

  • WhatsApp reported a spyware named ‘Pegasus’ in 2019. Pegasus was developed by an Israeli company, NSO.
  • It enters the mobile through a WhatsApp call even if the call is not answered. It can also enter through SMS with a link. It could steal information from the mobile, even from the services that offer encryption.
  • The mobile can also be used as a spying device by turning on the camera and microphone. Android mobiles are more vulnerable to this spyware.

 

7. உளவு மென்பொருளான ‘பெகாசஸ்‘ வாட்ஸ்அப் வழியாக ஊடுருவுகிறது

  • வாட்ஸ்அப் 2019இல் ஒரு உளவு மென்பொருளான ‘பெகாசஸ்‘ஐ கண்டறிந்தது. பெகாசஸ் இஸ்ரேலிய நிறுவனமான என்.எஸ்.ஓ.வால் (NSO) உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.
  • ஒரு அழைப்புக்கு பதில் அளிக்காவிட்டாலும் கூட, இது வாட்ஸ்அப் அழைப்பு மூலம் மொபைலுக்கு நுழைகிறது. இது ஒரு இணைப்பு (link) மூலம் குறுஞ்செய்தி வழியாக நுழையலாம். இது மொபைலில் குறியாக்கத்தை (encryption) வழங்கும் சேவைகளில் இருந்து கூட இருந்து தகவலைத் திருடலாம்.

8. IAF’s Sarang helicopter team is set to perform in the Russian air show for the first time

  • The Sarang Helicopter Display Team of the Indian Air Force is all set to perform for the first time at the MAKS International Air Show held at Zhukovsky International Airport, Russia. The team consists of the ‘Dhruv’ Advanced Light Helicopter.
  • The Sarang Team was formed in 2003 in Bangalore and made its first international display at the Asian Aerospace Airshow in Singapore in 2004. It has also been involved in various disaster management assistance.

 

9. ரஷ்ய விமான கண்காட்சியில் முதல் முறையாக இந்திய விமானப் படையின் சாரங் ஹெலிகாப்டர் குழு கலந்துகொள்ள உள்ளது

  • ரஷ்யாவின் ஜுகோவ்ஸ்கி சர்வதேச விமான நிலையத்தில் நடைபெறவுள்ள மாக்ஸ் சர்வதேச விமான கண்காட்சியில் இந்திய விமானப் படையின் சாரங் ஹெலிகாப்டர் குழு முதல் முறையாக கலந்துகொள்ள உள்ளது. இந்த குழுவில் மேப்பட்ட இலகுரக ஹெலிகாப்டரான ‘துருவ்’ உள்ளது.
  • சாரங் குழு பெங்களூரில் 2003இல் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது மற்றும் அது சிங்கப்பூரில் நடந்த ஆசிய விண்வெளி விமான கண்காட்சியில் முதன்முதலில் 2004இல் கலந்து கொண்டது. இது பல்வேறு பேரிடர் மீட்பு உதவிகளிலும் ஈடுபட்டுள்ளது.

9. Perumkulam becomes Kerala’s first ‘Book Village’

  • Perumkulam, in Kollam District of Kerala, became Kerala’s first ‘Book Village’.
  • Bapuji Smaraka Grandhasala, a library in the Village, is the pioneer in this effort of making it the first book village of Kerala. The library has set up bookshelves, or ‘Book Nests’ placed at different corners of the village. Anybody can take books from the book nests, read them and keep them back.
  • Malayalam writer T. Vasudevan Nair hailed this village as the ‘Book Village’ and then Kerala Government officially conferred the title of ‘Book Village’ to Perumkulam on Reading Day 2021 (19 June).

 

9. பெருங்குளம் கேரளாவின் முதல் ‘புத்தக கிராமம்‘ ஆனது

  • கேரளாவின் கொல்லம் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள பெருங்குளம் கேரளாவின் முதல் ‘புத்தக கிராமம்‘ என்ற பெருமையை பெற்றுள்ளது.
  • பாபுஜி ஸ்மராகா கிராந்தசலா என்ற நூலகம் இந்த கிராமத்தை கேரளாவின் முதல் புத்தக கிராமமாக மாற்றுவதற்கான முயற்சிகளில் முன்னோடியாக இருந்துள்ளது. இந்த நூலகம் கிராமத்தின் பல்வேறு மூலைகளில் புத்தக அலமாரிகள் அல்லது ‘புத்தக கூடுகளை‘ அமைத்துள்ளது. யார் வேண்டுமானாலும் புத்தகக் இந்த கூடுகளிலிருந்து புத்தகங்களை எடுத்து, அவற்றைப் படித்துவிட்டு, அவற்றைத் திரும்பப் வைத்துவிடலாம்.
  • மலையாள எழுத்தாளர் எம். டி. வாசுதேவன் நாயர், இந்த கிராமத்தை ‘புத்தக கிராமம்’ என்று பாராட்டினார். பின்னர் கேரள அரசு அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக 2021 (ஜூன் 19) வாசிப்பு நாளில் பெருங்குளத்திற்கு ‘புத்தக கிராமம்’ என்ற பட்டத்தை வழங்கியது.

10. Jeff Bezos launches the New Shepard rocket to space with the youngest and the oldest persons to space

  • Jeff Bezos launched the first crewed flight of the New Shepard spaceship to space.
  • He was accompanied by Mark Bezos, Wally Funk, the oldest person to space (82 years) and Oliver Daemen, the youngest person to space (18 years).
  • The New Shepard spaceship was built by the Blue Origin space company of Jeff Bezos.
  • Sanjal Gavande, a 30-year-old woman from Maharashtra, was one among the team of engineers who built the rocket.

 

10. ஜெஃப் பெஸோஸ் நியூ ஷெப்பர்ட் ராக்கெட்டில் விண்வெளிக்கு செல்லும் மிக வயதான மற்றும் இளைய நபருடன் விண்வெளி பயணத்தை தொடங்கினார்

  • ஜெஃப் பெஸோஸ் நியூ ஷெப்பர்ட் விண்கலத்தின் முதல் குழுவை விண்ணில் செலுத்தினார்.

11. China’s unveils the world’s fastest ground vehicle named ‘the maglev train’

  • China unveiled the world’s fastest ground vehicle named ‘the maglev train’, that can travel at 600 km/hr. The train can travel with two to 10 carriages, each holding more than 100 passengers.
  • MAGnetic LEVitation vehicles (Maglev) are high-speed vehicles that are lifted by magnetic repulsion and propelled along an elevated guideway by superconducting electromagnets attached to the vehicle. The vehicles do not physically contact the guideway, do not need engines and fuel.

 

11. உலகின் அதிவேக தரை வாகனமான ‘தி மேக்லெவ் ரயிலை‘ சீனா அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது

  • 600 கி. மீ வேகத்தில் பயணிக்கும் உலகின் அதிவேக தரை வாகனமான ‘தி மாக்லெவ் ரயில்‘ஐ சீனா அறிமுகப்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இந்த ரயிலில் 2 முதல் 10 பெட்டிகளுடன், ஒவ்வொன்றிலும் 100க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பயணிகளைக் கொண்டு பயணிக்க முடியும்.
  • மேக்லெவ் (MAGnetic LEVitation) தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் ரயில் காந்தவிலகல் மூலம் தூக்கப்பட்டு, அதனுடன் இணைக்கப்பட்ட மீக்கடத்தும் மின்காந்தங்கள் மூலம் முன்னோக்கி இயக்கப்படும் அதிவேக வாகனங்களாகும். இந்த வாகனங்கள் வழிகாட்டியை தொடர்பு கொள்வதில்லை. இதற்கு என்ஜின்கள் மற்றும் எரிபொருள் தேவையில்லை.

12. Death Anniversary of Womesh Chandra Banerjee – 21 July

  • Womesh Chandra Bannerjee was born on 29 December 1844 at He was the co-founder and the first President of the Indian National Congress (INC) held at Bombay in 1855. He also presided over the 1892 INC session. He died on 21 July 1906.

 

12. உமேஷ் சந்திர பானர்ஜியின் நினைவு நாள் – 21 ஜூலை

  • உமேஷ் சந்திர பானர்ஜி கல்கத்தாவில் 22 டிசம்பர் 1844 அன்று பிறந்தார். இவர் இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரஸின் இணை–நிறுவனரும், 1855ஆம் ஆண்டு பம்பாயில் முதல் இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரஸ் கூட்டத்தின் முதல் தலைவருமாவார். அவர் 1892 இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரஸ் அமர்வுக்கும் தலைமை தாங்கினார். அவர் 21 ஜூலை 1906 அன்று காலமானார்.
