TNSPC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has released the notification for the TNPSC Group I 2019 Exam today.

The posts which are available in the TNPSC Group I 2019 are Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Registrar of Co-Operative Societies, District Registrar, Assistant Director of Rural Development, District Development Officer, District Officer  (Fire and Rescue Services).

The total number of vacancies available for the TNPSC Group I Exam 2019 is 139.

We are providing the TNPSC Group I 2019 Syllabus here in the post, so that aspirants can start preparing for the TNPSC Group I 2019 Exams.

The selection will be made in three successive stages, viz

(i) Preliminary Examination for selection of applicants for admission to the Main Written Examination

(ii) Main Written Examination

(iii) an Oral Test in the form of an Interview.


The preliminary Examination of the TNPSC Group I 2019 Exam is an objective type test which consists of single paper in General Studies.

In the TNPSC Group I Prelims Exam 2019, General Studies accounts for 150 Questions and Aptitude and mental ability accounts for 50 Questions. The TNSPC Group I Prelims Exam 2019 will take place on 3rd March, 2019.
