Overall Analysis of RBI Assistant Prelims Exam 2017 – Day 2 – November 28, 2017

Dear Bankersdaily Aspirant,

The RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination is over and the exam was a happier one for all the candidates who wrote the exam yesterday and today. At every exam, the candidates would face different types of questions, tougher questions with tricky sections, but this exam was little different from all the other exams in the recent days. Even the UIIC Assistant Prelims was on the same level, but when compared to other exams, this RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination was easy and every candidate who attended the exam would have attended maximum questions, because the exam was easier.

The 2nd Day of the exam was no different from the 1st day, it had only meager changes in the number of questions asked, there were same topics asked in all slots of the RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination 2017 for the quantitative Aptitude and English Section. Everything in the above mentioned sections had unchanged topics and similar type of questions which is unseen these days, after the exams have become tougher and more complex. This was breeze for the candidates and the only one which fears the candidates now will be the cutoff marks for the RBI Assistant Prelims Examination 2017.

RBI Assistant Prelims Exam 2017 – Day 2 – All Slot Reviews

Out of all, the reasoning section was the easiest one, even though the topics asked in the exam was changing from slot to slot. The only significance the reasoning section had was, no new pattern questions were asked in this particular section. Eve though coding decoding, syllogism , alphanumeric series, MOT were asked, they refrained from going for the new pattern questions, since the question has to be in the easier range. Even the puzzles and Seating arrangement was simple. Only the number series and the alphanumeric series were little tricky but those questions were also easier taking some more time to solve. Directions and Blood Relations constituted the remaining marks in the reasoning section. So this was the scoring part for many of the candidates and we hope many candidates hope to score more in this section and this will save the candidates in the overall cutoff marks of RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination 2017.

The English section had little changes with Reading comprehension and Error Spotting taking the maximum number of questions. The Reading Comprehension was easier with each slot having stories for the reading comprehension. Antonyms and Synonyms questions constituted for 4-5 questions which varied from slots to slots. The Error Detection was the next major one to score. Only basic grammar rules were asked, we repeat basic ones, where the error was very accurate for the candidates to find, difficulty level for these ones can be termed as easy. Even a slot had finding of the spelling mistakes as questions which we were having in the IBPS Clerk Planner schedule in our website. The fillers were also easy. The sentence replacement and Phrase Replacement were somewhat tricky but an easy one. So when compared with others, this category of questions would be the highest number of solved questions in the RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination 2017.

The Quantitative Aptitude section were the DI was a standard one , like Table and Bar graph constituting the various slots. The Missing Number topic was unchanged in all the slots and the questions were simple. The Simplification was the next scoring part in the RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination 2017 in the quants section. The last one in the quants section, the miscellaneous part had different sections  in the exam. The topics varied from Partnership, profit and loss, average, ratio and proportions, time and distance, trains. No Complex questions were also asked. Many candidates would have attended this section last, but this topic had some of the easiest questions in the RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination 2017.

Overall the exam was easier. So if you have written the RBI Assistant Exam well, with attending more number of questions with complete accuracy, then you can expect the mains call soon.
