Introduction:

This article covers the topic of Puzzle test questions based on which are asked under the reasoning section in various bank examination. Normally there are three types of Puzzles that are asked in bank exam but with the increasing diversity u can never be sure.

When you are going to solve a seating arrangement problems . First of all draw two or three circles or lines and squares based on the problems. Solve simultaneously on all of possibility diagrams. As you progress, you will be left with only one possibility which will lead you to answer.

Blood Relation Puzzles: One method which is easy to solve these kind of sum is to draw a blood relationship family tree initially then try to fix the entities in respective positions. This reduces the complexity and can yield you the correct answer.

City – person – month/ day puzzle:  You need to draw columns and rows. Cancel the unfavourable possibilities with a simple × in the blocks will reduce possibilities.

  1. Puzzles have all information to solve the problem, the information is scattered. Your job is to arrange the scattered information in a systematic manner.
  2. The most critical part at your end is to infer some informationbased on the fact provided. For example if it is given that there are 7 friends and each takes leave on one day of the week and Vijay comes to office from Monday to Saturday. You have to immediately mark that Vijay was on leave on Sunday. So, anyone else can’t take leave on Sunday.
  3. Do not trust on your memory and logic in mind. Rather learn the technique of making appropriate diagram and coding the information to complete the diagram. You have to learn to code the information in a diagram and fill the blanks by inferring data. At certain places you have no definite answer so you have to write options, but learn to write these options correctly.
  4. Approach Step by Step. Draw the diagram by coding step by step information. Ones all steps completed review again to check if you have left any information. Now go to the diagram and find out what information can be certainly derived and what can be probably derived. Note this down and start solving questions.
