Comparative Statement – Which can’t be fixed directly but we can by merging two are three comparative statement

Negative Statement – Which can’t be fixed directly but we can reduce the possibilities with help of this statement

For example let us take three statements and evaluate them

Statement 1: P is second to the left of Q.

The data in the statement is definite as it clearly states that P is placed second to the left of Q. But everyone must face either centre or outwards likewise everyone must face either north or south.

Statement 2: P is to the right of Q.

The data in the statement is basic but not definite as the statement.  It only states that P is to the right of Q. but, it does not specify where Q is located from P.

Statement 3: P is not an immediate neighbour of Q.

Here, only we know that P definitely won’t comes next to Q but we doesn’t were P comes exactly.

  • Find the common information mentioned in the statement.
  • Draw the Linear or seating arrangement by clearly identifying the directions
