1. Kiren Rijiju launches Ayush Clinical Case Repository portal and Ayush Sanjivani 3.0 App

• Union Minister Kiren Rijiju launched the Ayush Clinical Case Repository portal and 3^rd version of Ayush Sanjivani App.

Ayush Clinical Case Repository portal

• The Ayush Clinical Repository portal aims to aggregate information about clinical outcomes achieved by Ayush practitioners on a large scale. It will not only benefit the practitioner community and the public, but will also help widen the solid scientific base of all streams of Ayush(Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy).

Ayush Sanjivani App

• The third version of Ayush Sanjivani App will facilitate a significant study and documentation regarding the efficacy of selected Ayush interventions, including Ayush-64 and Kabasura Kudineer medicines in the management of asymptomatic and mild to moderate COVID-19 patients.

2. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launches SeHAT OPD Portal

• Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched the ‘Services e-Health Assistance & Tele-consultation (SeHAT) OPD Portal’ via video conferencing. The portal will help the Armed Forces in providing telemedicine services.
• Defence personnel from Army , Navy, Airforce and ex- service personal can take tele consultations from Armed forces specialists doctors through this portal.

2. மத்திய பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் சேஹட் (SeHAT) ஓ.பி.டி வளைத்தளத்தை தொடங்கி வைத்தார்

• மத்திய பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சர் ராஜ்நாத் சிங் காணொலிக்காட்சி மூலம் ‘இ-ஹெல்த் உதவி மற்றும் தொலைபேசி-ஆலோசனை சேவைகள் (SeHAT) ஓ.பி.டி வளைத்தளம்’ என்ற திட்டத்தை தொடங்கி வைத்தார். இந்த இணையதளம் ஆயுதப் படைகளுக்கு தொலைபேசி-மருத்துவ சேவைகளை வழங்க உதவும்.
• ராணுவம், கடற்படை, விமானப்படை மற்றும் முன்னாள் ராணுவ அதிகாரிகள் இந்த இணையதளம் மூலம் ஆயுதப் படை சிறப்பு மருத்துவர்களிடமிருந்து தொலைபேசி ஆலோசனைகளை பெறலாம்.

3. WHO and Switzerland launch the first Global BioHub Facility

• The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Swiss Confederation has signed a MoU to launch the first WHO BioHub Facility as part of the WHO BioHub System, which was announced in November 2020.
• This Global BioHub facility will be used for Pathogen storage, sharing and analysis. This facility will enhance the rapid sharing of viruses and other pathogens between laboratories and partners globally.

3. உலக சுகாதார நிறுவனம் மற்றும் சுவிட்சர்லாந்து முதல் உலகளாவிய உயிர்மைய வசதியை தொடங்கியது

• Union Minister Harsh Vardhan virtually participates in a meeting with Ministers of Health of the NAM (Non-Aligned Movement)
• Azerbaijan is the President of NAM from 2019-2022.

Non- aligned movement

• Non-Aligned Movement was created by Yugoslavia, India, Egypt, Ghana and Indonesia.
• Non-Aligned Movement is the second-largest platform globally in terms of country membership after the UN. It currently has more than 120 members.

4. அணிசேரா நாடுகளின் சுகாதார அமைச்சர்களுடனான கூட்டத்தில் மத்திய அமைச்சர் ஹர்ஷ் வர்தன் மெய்நிகராக பங்கேற்றார்

• மத்திய அமைச்சர் ஹர்ஷ் வர்தன், அணிசேரா நாடுகளின் (NAM) சுகாதார அமைச்சர்களுடனான கூட்டத்தில் மெய்நிகராக பங்கேற்கிறார்.
• அசர்பைஜான் 2019-2022 வரை அணிசேரா நாடுகளின் தலைவர் பதவியில் உள்ளது.

அணிசேரா நாடுகள் இயக்கம்

• அணிசேரா நாடுகளின் இயக்கம் யூகோஸ்லாவியா, இந்தியா, எகிப்து, கானா மற்றும் இந்தோனேசியாவால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.
• அணிசேரா நாடுகளின் இயக்கம் ஐ.நா.வை அடுத்து உறுப்பினர்கள் அடிப்படையில் உலகளவில் இரண்டாவது பெரிய அமைப்பாகும். இதில் தற்போது 120க்கும் மேற்பட்ட உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

5. All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) allows colleges to offer engineering degree in eight regional Indian languages

• All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) has allowed colleges to offer engineering degree in eight regional Indian languages from the new academic year (2020-21). The languages are – Marathi, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada and Malayalam.
• The move would help aspirants, who would stay away from these courses due to fear of English particularly from rural and tribal areas.

5. அகில இந்திய தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்வி கவுன்சில் (AICTE), கல்லூரிகள் எட்டு பிராந்திய இந்திய மொழிகளில் பொறியியல் பட்டம் வழங்க அனுமதித்துள்ளது

• அகில இந்திய தொழில்நுட்பக் கல்வி கவுன்சில் (AICTE) புதிய கல்வி ஆண்டு (2020-21) முதல் எட்டு பிராந்திய இந்திய மொழிகளில் பொறியியல் பட்டம் வழங்க கல்லூரிகளுக்கு அனுமதி வழங்கியுள்ளது. அந்த மொழிகள் – மராத்தி, இந்தி, பெங்காலி, தெலுங்கு,  தமிழ், குஜராத்தி, கன்னடம் மற்றும்  மலையாளம்.
• இந்த நடவடிக்கை, ஆங்கில பயம் காரணமாக இந்த படிப்புகளில் இருந்து விலகி இருக்கும் குறிப்பாக கிராமப்புற மற்றும் பழங்குடி மாணவர்களுக்கு உதவும்.

6. Penpa Tsering sworn-in as the President of Tibetan government-in-exile

• Penpa Tsering was sworn-in as the President of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), the Dharamshala-based Tibetan government-in-exile. He is the second democratically-elected Sikyong (President) of the 17^th Parliament-in-Exile of the Central Tibetan Administration.
• Penpa Tsering succeeded Lobsang Sangay. The Dalai Lama attended the swearing-in ceremony virtually and extended his greetings to the new president of the Tibetan government-in-exile.

6. நாடு கடத்தப்பட்ட திபெத்திய ஜனாதிபதியாக பென்பா செரிங் பதவியேற்றார்

• நாடு கடத்தப்பட்டு தர்மசாலாவை தளமாகக் கொண்ட திபெத்திய அரசாங்கமான மத்திய திபெத்திய நிர்வாகத்தின் (CTA) ஜனாதிபதியாக பென்பா செரிங் பதவியேற்றார். மத்திய திபெத்திய நிர்வாகத்தின் நாடுகடத்தப்பட்ட 17வது பாராளுமன்றத்தில் ஜனநாயக முறையில் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட இரண்டாவது சிக்யோங் (ஜனாதிபதி) ஆவார்.
• லோப்சாங் சங்கேவுக்குப் பிறகு பென்பா செரிங் ஜனாதிபதியானார். தலாய் லாமா பதவியேற்பு விழாவில் மெய்நிகராக கலந்து கொண்டு, நாடு கடத்தப்பட்ட திபெத்திய அரசாங்கத்தின் புதிய ஜனாதிபதிக்கு தனது வாழ்த்துக்களை தெரிவித்தார்.

7. ONV Award for Tamil poet Vairamuthu

• Tamil poet and lyricist Vairamuthu has been selected for ONV Award 2021 instituted by the ONV Cultural Academy in honour of late poet ONV Kurup.
• This is the first time that the award is given to a non-Keralite writer.
• Vairamuthu’s first poetry collection was released in 1972.
• His novel ‘Kallikaattu Idhigaasam’ won the Sahitya Akademy award.
• ‘Thanneer Desam’ won the Aadhithanar literary prize.
• Poet Vairamuthu has received seven national film awards for his songs. He has also been conferred with India’s prestigious Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan

7. தமிழ் கவிஞர் வைரமுத்துவுக்கு ஓ.என்.வி விருது

• மறைந்த கவிஞர் ஓ.என்.வி. குருப் நினைவாக ஓ.என்.வி கலாச்சார அகாடமியால் நிறுவப்பட்ட ஓ.என்.வி விருது 2021க்கு தமிழ் கவிஞரும் பாடலாசிரியருமான வைரமுத்து தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.
• கேரளத்தை சேராத எழுத்தாளருக்கு இந்த விருது கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது இதுவே முதல் முறையாகும்.
• 1972இல் வைரமுத்துவின் முதல் கவிதைத் தொகுப்பு வெளியிடப்பட்டது.
• அவரது ‘கள்ளிக்காட்டு இதிகாசம்’ என்ற நாவல் சாகித்ய அகாடமி விருதை வென்றது.
• ‘தண்ணீர் தேசம்’ ஆதித்தனார் இலக்கியப் பரிசை வென்றது.
• கவிஞர் வைரமுத்து தனது பாடல்களுக்காக ஏழு தேசிய திரைப்பட விருதுகளைப் பெற்றுள்ளார். இந்தியாவின் மதிப்புமிக்க பத்மஸ்ரீ மற்றும் பத்ம பூஷண் விருதுகளும் அவருக்கு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

8. Professor CNR Rao bags Eni International Award for renewable energy research

• Bharat Ratna awardee Professor C.N.R. Rao has received International Eni Award 2020 for research into renewable energy sources and energy storage. Professor Rao has been working on hydrogen energy as the only energy source for the benefit of all mankind.
• Eni International Award is also called the Energy Frontier award. It is given by an Italian oil and gas company ENI. This is considered to be the Nobel Prize in Energy Research.

8. புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி ஆராய்ச்சிக்கான எனி (ENI) சர்வதேச விருதை பேராசிரியர் சி. என். ஆர். ராவ் பெற்றார்

• பாரத ரத்னா விருது பெற்ற பேராசிரியர் சி. என். ஆர். ராவ் புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி ஆதாரங்கள் மற்றும் எரிசக்தி சேமிப்பு பற்றிய ஆராய்ச்சிக்காக சர்வதேச எனி விருது 2020ஐப் பெற்றுள்ளார். பேராசிரியர் ராவ் மனிதகுலத்தின் நலனுக்காக ஹைட்ரஜன் ஆற்றலை மட்டுமே ஆற்றல் ஆதாரமாக வைத்து ஆராய்ச்சி செய்து வருகிறார்.
• எனி சர்வதேச விருது, எனர்ஜி ஃப்ராண்டியர் விருது என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. இது எனி (ENI) இத்தாலிய  எண்ணெய் மற்றும் எரிவாயு நிறுவனத்தால்   வழங்கப்படுகிறது. இது எரிசக்தி ஆராய்ச்சிக்கான நோபல் பரிசாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.

9. Achinta Sheuli bags silver medal at Junior World Weightlifting Championships 2021

• Indian weightlifter Achinta Sheuli won the silver medal in the men’s 73 kg category at the Junior World Weightlifting Championships 2021 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
• Achinta Sheuli lifted a total of 313 kg (141 kg snatch and 172 kg clean and jerk) and finished behind Indonesia’s Rizki Juniansyah, who lifted a world record 349 kg (155 kg snatch and 194 kg clean and jerk) for the gold medal.

9. ஜூனியர் உலக பளுதூக்குதல் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் 2021இல் அசிந்தா ஷெலி வெள்ளிப் பதக்கம் வென்றார்

• உஸ்பெகிஸ்தானின் தாஷ்கண்டில் நடைபெற்ற ஜூனியர் உலக பளுதூக்குதல் சாம்பியன்ஷிப் 2021இல் நடைபெற்ற ஆண்களுக்கான 73 கிலோ எடைப் பிரிவில் இந்திய பளுதூக்கும் வீரர் அசிந்தா ஷெலி வெள்ளிப் பதக்கம் வென்றார்.
• அசிந்தா ஷெலி மொத்தம் 313 கிலோ (141 கிலோ ஸ்னாட்ச் மற்றும் 172 கிலோ சுத்தமான மற்றும் ஜெர்க்) பிரிவில் பளுதூக்கி, 349 கிலோ (155 கிலோ ஸ்னாட்ச் மற்றும் 194 கிலோ சுத்தமான மற்றும் ஜெர்க்) பிரிவில் தங்கம் பெற்ற இந்தோனேசியாவின் ரிஸ்கி ஜூனியன்ஸ்யாவுக்குப் பின்னால் முடித்தார்.
