TNPSC Group II CCSE 2018 – Vacancies Increased – Official
Dear TNPSC Aspirants,
TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) has released an addendum for the recently announced TNPSC Group II – CCSE 2018 Exam for which the Preliminary exam ended on 11th November 2018. TNPSC has increased the vacancies for the TNPSC Group II CCSE 2018.
The following posts vacancies have been increased in the recently announced addendum released by TNPSC.
1. Deputy Commercial Tax Officer
2. Junior Employment Officer (Differently Abled)
3. Sub Registrar – Grade II
4. Revenue Assistant
Based on the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of Madras in W.P.No.2937 of 2018, dated 10.10.2018 the vacancies now received for the following posts have been added in the Notification No.15/2018, dated 10.08.2018 which had already been notified for the posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination – II (Interview Posts) (Group-II Services) subject to the confirmation to be received in regard to the number of Shortfall vacancies(SC/ST) from the Government for which preliminary examination held on 11.11.2018.
1. Deputy Commercial Tax Office (Post Code No:1013) – 65 (Regular Vacancy), 22(SC) Shortfall and 3(ST) Shortfall
Scale of Pay : Rs.36,900-1,16,600/-, Level-18
Educational Qualification: Preferential Qualification
A degree of B.A., or B.Sc., or B.Com., of any University or institution recognized by the UGC. or B.O.L., of Annamalai University or B.B.A., of Madurai Kamaraj University or B.Litt., of Madras University or B.B.M., or B.Litt., of Bharathiyar University.
Provided that other things being equal preference shall be given first to the candidates who hold a degree both in Commerce and Law together with a Diploma in Taxation Law. Secondly to those who hold a degree in Commerce and Law. Thirdly to those who hold a degree either in commerce or Law together with a Diploma in Taxation Law. Fourthly to those who hold a degree in Commerce. Fifthly to those who hold a degree in Law and Lastly to those who hold a Diploma in Commerce. Provided further that other things being equal preference shall be given to Released Emergency Commissioned Officer, Released Short service Regular Commissioned Officer / Other Ex-Servicemen in Selection for appointment as DCTO.
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 30 Years ( for others)( for the persons holding a degree in law 32 years)
2. Junior Employment Officer (Differently Abled) in Employment and Training (Employment wing) Department (Post Code No:2203) – 2 (Regular Vacancy)
Maximum 35 years ( for the persons holding a degree in law 37 years) ( SC/SCA/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BC (M))
Scale of Pay: Rs.36,900-1,16,600/-, Level-18
a) A degree of B.A., or B.Sc., or B.Com., of any University or institution recognized by the UGC. or B.O.L., of Annamalai University or B.B.A., of Madurai Kamaraj University or B.Litt., of Madras University or B.B.M., or B.Litt., of Bharathiyar University.
b) Differently Abled Persons whose physically disability shall not be less than 40%. Differently Abled Person to the post of Junior Employment Officer- Differently Abled should produce at the time of Certificate Verification a medical certificate obtained from a Medical Officer of the rank not lower than that of the Civil Assistant Surgeon showing the nature and degree of his physical
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years
Maximum: 40 years ( for others)
No Maximum age limit [SC/SCA/ST/MBC/DC/BC/BC (M) and DWs of all categories]
3. Sub Registrar – Grade II (Post Code No:1071) – 1 (SC) (Shortfall)
4. Revenue Assistant – 30 (SC) (Shortfall) (District wise vacancies have to be confirmed)
All the other details/conditions stipulated in the Notification No.15/2018, dated 10.08.2018 will remain unchanged and will apply to the candidates.
