1. Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs signs an MoU with Microsoft for the digital transformation of tribal schools

• Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Microsoft signed an MoU for the digital transformation of tribal schools such as Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) and Ashram Schools.
• Microsoft will make the AI curriculum available to tribal students in both English and Hindi at all EMRS schools under the Union Tribal Ministry to skill educators and students in next-generation technologies, including Artificial Intelligence.

2. MCCIA and NABARD launches India’s first Agriculture Export Facilitation Centre (AEFC) at Pune

• Mahratta Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA), in collaboration with the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), had launched India’s first Agriculture Export Facilitation Centre (AEFC) at Pune.
• The facilitation centre aims to boost agri-export from the region and adhere to global standards. The facility will be available to everyone in the agricultural sector who plans to export their products overseas.

2. MCCIA மற்றும் NABARD இணைந்து இந்தியாவின் முதல் வேளாண் ஏற்றுமதி வசதி மையத்தை (AEFC) பூனாவில் தொடங்கின

3. Reliance Jio joins Global Consortium to build an undersea cable network

• Telecom operator Reliance Jio announced that it is constructing the largest international submarine cable system centred on India with global partners and submarine cable supplier Subcom to cater to increased data demand.
• The two submarine cable systems – the IAX system will connect India with Asia Pacific markets through Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia and the IEX system will connect India with Italy, middle and Middle and North Africa region.
• The two systems are also connected to the Reliance Jio Global Fiber Network beyond the Asia-Pacific and Europe, connecting to both the east and west coast of the USA. These high capacities and high-speed systems will provide more than 200 Tbps (terabits per second) of capacity spanning over 16,000 km.

3. கடலடி கேபிள் நெட்வொர்க்கை உருவாக்கும் உலக கூட்டமைப்பில் ரிலையன்ஸ் ஜியோ இணைந்தது

• Andrea Meza from Mexico has won the Miss Universe 2020 crown in the 69^th Miss Universe title contest.

5. Distinguished mathematician Prof. M S Narasimhan passed away at the age of 88

• Distinguished mathematician and M. S. Narasimhan passed away. He was known for the Narasimhan-Seshadri theorem.
• He was the founding-Chairman of the National Board of Higher Mathematics of the Government of India.
• He was the only Indian to be awarded with King Faisal International Prize for Science & the First Chair of the National Board for Higher Mathematics.

5. Padma Shri awardee and an eminent cardiologist KK Aggarwal passed away at 62

• Padma Shri awardee and eminent cardiologist, KK Aggarwal, passed away due to COVID-19 complications.
• He was the former National President of the Indian Medical Association (IMA). He also headed the Heart Care Foundation of India.

6. Arjan Bhullar becomes a Heavyweight World Champion at One Championship

• Arjan Bhullar became the first Indian-origin fighter to win a world title in a top-level MMA promotion. He beat Brandon Vera in the finals to become the Heavyweight World Champion at the Singapore-based One Championship.
• He had won a gold medal in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in 120kg freestyle wrestling held in New Delhi and in 2012 Commonwealth Games in London.
• He became the first Indian-origin freestyle wrestler to represent Canada at the Olympics.
• He won his UFC debut against Luis Enrigue Barbosa de Oliveira in UFC 215, He had become the first Indian origin fighter to win a UFC fight.

6. அர்ஜன் புல்லர் ஒன் சாம்பியன்ஷிப்பில் ஹெவிவெயிட் உலக சாம்பியன் பட்டம் வென்றார்
