7 Important points to score 50+ marks in IBPS PO preliminary Examination 2017

  • You need not be an all rounder to score more than the prescribed marks in the IBPS PO Preliminary examination 2017. If you are well versed in solving reasoning and moderate in solving quantitative aptitude and very tough to crack the English Language section, you can still clear the exam by cracking the english section by scoring the minimum cut off marks in the English section and scoring high in the reasoning section and moderately in the quants section. This varies according to everyone’s strength and weaknesses.
  • For the quantitative aptitude section, first go for the Simplification section or the Number series section because you can grab full marks in those sections by spending less amount of time. Going for Miscellaneous section will take away your time and for example, you should spend at least a minute to solve those problems and also after the simplification and the number series.
  • If approximation questions are asked, then you can go for that too in the first place. If your strong section is quantitative aptitude, then to score more in this section, you should definitely solve the miscellaneous section also in the last or after the previous ones.
  • If you are very strong in the reasoning section, then your choice of order should be solving the syllogism, miscellaneous, coding decoding, Inequalities  and your last choice of selection should be puzzles and seating arrangement. These days the puzzles and seating arrangement are hard and takes more time to crack. So the wise decision will be to choose the above said topics.
  • For the English section, if this is your toughest one to crack, go for the filler type questions and error spotting and grammar rules will come in handy at these times. Reading comprehension questions are sometimes easy to crack and aspirants sometimes regret it for not doing this topic many a times. So a proper strategy should be to attend almost all the known questions with proper strategy.
  • Para Jumbles and Sentence Correction are somewhat difficult to crack and so it is wise to do it at the last time. Prefer your own strategy and never deviate from what you have thought and always stick to the plan and if you consider anything different from the previous, we can definitely conclude that you are stronger in the section that are deemed to be difficult.
  • We have arrived at these points by the first two free mock test we have given to the users in our website.Always remember there is a time slot of 60 minutes to attempt 100 questions and never limit yourselves with the number of questions you should attend in the exam, there may be increase in the cutoff marks if the exam is easier, So never do that wrong in the exams. Your exam time is valuable and attend the section so that it fetches maximum return, exams are for valuating our skills of solving the questions faster and not judge your skills of solving a single topic.
